Presentation of the client
Our client, an IT, financial cloud and cybersecurity provider to the financial services and alternative investment sectors, is looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer.
The engineer will provide project implementation and infrastructure level support to all external and internal customers. Support areas include the entire IT infrastructure of the Group. In addition, he/she will be responsible for organizing highly complex activities for IT development, project coordination, implementation and maintenance of technology project initiatives.
Mission:
- Migrations, implementations and builds to private and public clouds for various project-based jobs.
- Manage and support storage and virtualization platforms
- Support Office 365, Azure, Exchange, Active Directory and manage all phases of migrations and upgrades.
- Implement and update Office 365 and Microsoft Azure and Intune security policies.
- Work with customers to determine their needs and evaluate solutions to improve delivery processes.
- Act as escalation point for server infrastructure issues.
- Support anti-spam, web filtering, network perimeter defense and remote access solutions.
- Coordinate all network-related work with network engineering, telephony, procurement or any other group involved in IT infrastructure.
- Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements.
- Ability to provide updates and documentation as requested in the project plan as well as all closing documents.
- Ownership of all infrastructure-related tasks and customer requests until project completion.
- Work directly with suppliers on deployment of third-party servers/software.
- Work on the design and revision of the new project plan.
- Attend meetings and gather requirements for new projects such as onsite infrastructure deployment, offshoring, cloud provisioning, etc.
- Work closely with technical colleagues to develop customer solutions.
Profile :
Trained at an engineering school specializing in IT Infrastructure, you have 1 to 2 years’ experience in AWS or Azure cloud technologies (if possible both).
You have a proven track record in managing complex IT projects and technical crisis management.
MCSA, MCSE and/or Microsoft Azure certifications would be a plus.
Good technical expertise:
- Network and Layer 2 and 3 capabilities.
- Scripts in PowerShell
- Citrix and terminal services
- Configuration and support of Microsoft OS-based servers
- Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, group policy administration
- Virtualization: VMware
- Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016 and Office 365
- Portable communication device systems (Active Sync, MDM – MobileIron, Airwatch)
- Support for various SAN arrays
